Neurology

Dr. Chu is board-certified in neurology with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He specializes in the treatment of all neurological diseases including but not limited to stroke, seizure, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, dementia, headaches and various forms of pain. His expertise in all neurological diseases offers his patients the highest degree of diagnostic studies, treatment, and management.

Neuromuscular Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine

Dr. Chu is board-certified in electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG) and has a separate subspecialty in electrodiagnostic medicine. He has fellowship training in neuromuscular disease at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University. Dr. Chu specializes in the treatment of all neuromuscular medicine including but not limited to carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy (pinched nerve), myasthenia gravis, motor neuron disease, myopathy (muscle disease), diabetic neuropathy, and other peripheral neuropathy.

Dr. Chu offers expert electrodiagnostic testing for disorders of the nerves and muscles using nerve conduction (NCV) studies and EMG. His EMG studies are done in the convenience of his office and known to be of exceptional quality and with minimal discomfort to his patients. Physicians throughout the north Houston area depend on Dr. Chu's expert diagnostic skills in EMG testing for the proper treatment of their patients.

Sleep Medicine

Dr. Chu is board-certified in sleep medicine with The American Board of Sleep Medicine and currently serves as the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorder Center at Houston Northwest Medical Center in Houston, Texas. His advanced training in sleep medicine at Duke University Medical Center offers his patients incomparable testing, including sleep studies, and treatment for sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome.
